1. Registration/contract

By signing the registration form, after the non-binding trial lesson, the participant has bindingly enrolled for a language course at Languages For You.

2. Payment

The participant agrees to pay the course fees before the start of the course. Payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash. Group and individual lessons are to be paid in advance. In case of late payment, a reminder fee will be charged.

3. Cancellations

If a participant is unable to attend lessons due to urgent reasons (prolonged illness, unforeseen change of residence, further than 30 km), part of the course fee may be refunded if it is obvious that unforeseeable events justify a cancellation. In case of notification less than 4 days before the start of the course, no refund will be possible. In any case, the participant must notify Languages For You of his/her course withdrawal in writing with the relevant supporting documents.

If a course offered by Languages For You does not take place, the participant will be refunded all course fees which were paid in advance. Furthermore, Languages For You is entitled to cancel single lesson appointments and add them to the end of the course if the lecturer/trainer is unavailable.

3.1 Individual lessons

Individual lessons can be postponed in case of prevention if the lecturer/trainer has been informed, namely 24 hours before the agreed start of the lesson. In the case of failure to comply with this deadline, duty of payment for the agreed/appointed lessons comes into force. These conditions also apply if individual lessons are extended beyond the original start of the lesson without a written but with a verbal re-registration.

When booking a course as individual lessons, with a previously agreed number of dates, the course fee will not be refunded (not even pro rata) if the course is cancelled by the participant or the planned course duration is exceeded (+ tolerance period, see 3.3).

3.2 Group lessons

Course fees for group courses cannot be refunded (even on a pro rata basis) if a course is cancelled by the participant. In the case of group courses, no substitute appointments can be made if the participant is unable to attend. Courses with a monthly duration must be cancelled in writing at least two weeks before the end of the month (a short note is sufficient).

3.3 Exceeding the planned course duration

If the duration of the course previously planned with the client/participant is exceeded, the remaining teaching units are forfeited after a tolerance period of 50% of the course duration. 

3.4 Special offer

10 appointments card is valid within 6 months. Appointments not used within 6 months expire.

4. Number of participants

Group courses start with a minimum of 2 participants. Languages For You reserves the right to offer courses with less than 2 participants at the price of individual/private tuition.

5. Pricing

In principle, prices refer to the lessons stipulated in the registration form/contract, not to months or weeks. One lesson lasts 45 minutes.

In the case of a change in the number of participants for group lessons, Languages For You reserves the right to alter either the price or the number of hours offered.

If the lessons take place outside the Languages For You classrooms, the travel expenses incurred will be charged at 0,38 Euro/km. Travel time (time to get to the location and back) will be charged at 60 Euro per hour (60 min).

In the case of courses lasting several days and requiring a journey of more than one hour, accommodation and meals for the course instructor must be provided or the costs incurred will be charged separately.

For group lessons, copies are charged separately and are not included in the price.

6. Author's rights

The materials/worksheets developed by Languages For You are protected by copyright and are for personal use only. They may not be altered, reproduced or distributed without the consent of Languages For You. All rights reserved.

7. Aim/Behaviour

The lessons serve the purpose of training and further education. Each participant must behave in such a way that this goal is equally guaranteed for all participants.

8. Liability

Languages For You is not liable for lost items. Each participant is liable for personal injury and damage to property within the premises of Languages For You.

By signing the contract, the course participant undertakes to pay the agreed course fee on time and agrees to these conditions of participation.
